The year 2024 has been a period of great activity and relevance for the ORP International Foundation, marked by a series of events that have brought together leaders, academics, employers and citizens in an enriching dialogue on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). These meetings have been instrumental in addressing contemporary challenges in the workplace, especially in a context of rapid technological and social transformation.
One of the most prominent events was the ORP 2024 Congress, held in the city of Santiago de Chile. This congress brought together more than 1,350 participants from 41 countries, making it an international meeting point for sharing OSH knowledge and experiences. With more than 120 renowned speakers, the congress addressed crucial topics such as digitalisation, well-being at work, generational diversity and artificial intelligence applied to occupational risk prevention. Presentations and panel discussions provided a platform to explore how new technologies can improve safety at work and foster a healthier and more sustainable working environment.
