He holds specialist qualifications in occupational Medicine: Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FFOM), Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (MFOM) from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. He also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational health and safety(Hons); Masters degree in Health services management from the university of Newcastle in Australia, as well as the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degrees.
